P.E. Objectives
According to the American Diabetes Foundation a large number of American children are in danger of becoming obese because they lack physical activity.  this an lead to more Type 2 Diabetes in our society.

Therefore, we will once again focus on movement in P.E.  Activities will be planned to keep all students moving throughout class time.  While volleyball, soccer, football, hockey, basketball, softball and kickball skills will be targeted, the activities may not be the traditional activities the students are used to.

Games will be played that target these skills yet keep all students active for the entire class period.  We will also be working on team building skills this year.  A new character word will be practiced each week also.



Computer Science

Computer Rules

2. Keep eyes and hands on your own computer.
3. Work quietly.
4. Treat others with respect.
5. Treat equipment with respect.


Computer Objectives
Students will use a variety of programs to promote computer knowledge as well as to reinforce classroom curriculum.  Special attention will be paid to writing skills and math skills.  The Internet will be used as a resource and learning tool.   Our new server is up and going therefore each student has his/her own server account with a username and password.  This will facilitate more collaboration between computer class an the classroom teacher.
