After 9 years of teaching Kindergarten and 2 years as the Resource Teacher, I am now in my second year as Title 1 teacher. This year will be filled with lots of learning opportunities to engage with individual students on a one-on-one basis during pull out sessions or small group settings. I will work alongside the teachers and be a strong support system for them.
As a Title 1 teacher, I will be administering assessments for grades K-6. I will be assisting teachers in grades K-3 with either literacy groups or special pull out sessions. During the pull out sessions we will be improving reading and writing skills, comprehension and fluency skills. I am looking forward to supporting the teachers and helping the students this school year.
