"I am Mrs. Terri Goodman. For
17 years (1981-1998), I was known around here as Mrs. Goodman, kindergarten
teacher. Since 1998 I have been known as Mrs. Goodman, principal.
SacredHeartSchool has become my second home and the Sacred Heart staff and
students, my second family.
Like a family, we at SH, work
together for the welfare and benefit of all. We provide a friendly and
nurturing atmosphere to encourage individual growth and development. We believe
in providing forindividual needs and the inclusion of all in the education
process.
First and foremost
SacredHeartSchool was founded to provide children and families education on the
teachings of Jesus Christ and the Catholic Church. Children attend mass three
days of the school week and are provided daily religious instruction. We strive
to promote and model a strong Christian attitude in every aspect of the school day.
As members of the North Central
Association, we at SH continually evaluate existing programs and
procedures to ensure the best possible curriculum to guide student’s academic
and faith development.
Being a part of the Diocese
of Lafayette enables support and access to resources from the Pastoral
Office of Catholic Schools in Lafayette, IN.All schools in the
diocese are members of the National Catholic Education Association and the Indiana Non-Public
Education Association whose programs and information system
encourage the livelihood of Catholic education.
